Well, the small Coven that started almost six months ago has been experiencing a bit of a slowdown lately. We are stuck in chapter four of DMK's "Modern Magick", and assitance to the meetings has been just two of us the last three times. Carroll's Liber MMM workings seem to be advancing better, perhaps because of solo practice. On other Notes, yesterday I got Front Row working on my Powerbook!
Also, I made a little Liber AL vel Legis Widget for Mac OS Tiger, wich you fine folk can get at:

I plan to add the spanish and german translation soon, and after that, migrate it to Konfabulator, so those who are trapped Microsoft Windows can use it and perhaps find it in their True Wills to make the Switch.

Been busy for the last months, lot's of stuff happening.
Highlights:
- Started a Coven, we are currently working DMK's Modern Magick and Carroll's, MMM.
- Organized with my wife a various Reiki courses, with a Master from Colombia.
- Resigned from Neurocam :( -couldn't devote the time it deserved...
- Currently taking the NLP Course at www.maybelogic.org, albeit a bit on the lurky side of things.
- Yesterday celebrated a Thelemic/Wiccan Samhain. A photo of me before the rituals shows a looming shadow over my head. Really. Kinda scary.!.
- Got Zeroconf/Rendevouz working on my linux laptop!

Last night, Summer Solstice, the coven I practice with created 4 servitors, using the gnosis generated with the Peter Carroll's Ouranos Rite: a Defense/Attack servitor, a servitor to find Knowledge, and a servitor to assist in Character improvement (mine).
The ritual consisted of:
Start Time: 11:45pm
Gnostic Banishing Ritual: All members at the same time.
Declared the Intent: Each magician read the script of their own servitor(s).
Ouranos Rite's Prologue: Recited by all participants
Ouranos Rite's Invocation 1: Said with force by all participants
Ouranos Rite's Invocation 2: Said with a forcefull lethany 8 times by all participants
Ouranos Rite's Evocation Section: Read by each member in turn, in order to create the servitors.

End time: 12:50am
Dinner (or really early breakfast) at 1:00am
Notes:
I made some MP3's of the Rite in spanish with GarageBand using some dark and misterious loops, to listen on the drive up to the Mountains, it helped with the memorization and mindset.
After the opening Banishings, the area felt noticeably clean and charged.
During Invocation #2, the energy seemed quite strong.
After finishing, we all felt energetic, optimistic, and even 'healthier'. After getting home at 2:00 am, I needed some time to dissipate the energy and let sleep take over.
For a first time group working in the Open, we seemed to did ok! ^_^Current Mood:  energetic |

Apple switches to Intel.
I just feel sad. Memories of all those debates about how RISC architecture outperformed CISC, all that....
...just sad. The new Cell Processor seems to me a whole better idea.

Last night I received the review of my last mission, wich required a bit of typing. Here follows an interesting bit:
"However, it is suggested that this
operative (and many of his peers) be introduced to the concept of
spell-check" So there you go, fellow operatives: Better check those reports for lousy spelling before hitting 'send'!

For the last couple of weeks, I've been considering joining certain Illuminati from Europe, following the advice of two friends. Last night we discussed the subject again and I felt that I should reach a decission soon. Late that night, I dream about walking into a library, and the manager speaks out loud: Illuminati, 73! a couple of times. Later in the dream, I get a $400 fine for breaking a glass door in a bank.
So, researching the gematic values involved (thanks to Mr. Heidrick's Page), I found the following possible meanings:
73: to be about to bear a penalty
OR
wisdom, skill, proficiency; piety; science, knowledge
400: practice magic; sorcery, incantation; a sorcerer
OR
to smite, to rend or split; pr.n. "Fissure" or "Chasm"
What should I make of this?
At least, the 73 relates to the dream about the Fine, by way of the 'penalty' meaning. And that penalty will be in the field of Magic?
I plan to later do a divination on this. I don't want to linger any more on this subject.
