Late Update

Well, the small Coven that started almost six months ago has been experiencing a bit of a slowdown lately. We are stuck in chapter four of DMK's "Modern Magick", and assitance to the meetings has been just two of us the last three times. Carroll's Liber MMM workings seem to be advancing better, perhaps because of solo practice. On other Notes, yesterday I got Front Row working on my Powerbook!

Also, I made a little Liber AL vel Legis Widget for Mac OS Tiger, wich you fine folk can get at:

http://www.discoveringus.com/widget.html

I plan to add the spanish and german translation soon, and after that, migrate it to Konfabulator, so those who are trapped Microsoft Windows can use it and perhaps find it in their True Wills to make the Switch.

Lastly, I made Junior Warden!

^_^

Well, a little update!

Been busy for the last months, lot's of stuff happening.

Highlights:

Started a Coven, we are currently working DMK's Modern Magick and Carroll's, MMM.

Organized with my wife a various Reiki courses, with a Master from Colombia.

Resigned from Neurocam :( -couldn't devote the time it deserved...

Currently taking the NLP Course at www.maybelogic.org, albeit a bit on the lurky side of things.

Yesterday celebrated a Thelemic/Wiccan Samhain. A photo of me before the rituals shows a looming shadow over my head. Really. Kinda scary.!.

Got Zeroconf/Rendevouz working on my linux laptop!

More to come later!

Last night's Rites

Last night, Summer Solstice, the coven I practice with created 4 servitors, using the gnosis generated with the Peter Carroll's Ouranos Rite: a Defense/Attack servitor, a servitor to find Knowledge, and a servitor to assist in Character improvement (mine).

The ritual consisted of:

Start Time: 11:45pm

Gnostic Banishing Ritual: All members at the same time.
Declared the Intent: Each magician read the script of their own servitor(s).
Ouranos Rite's Prologue: Recited by all participants
Ouranos Rite's Invocation 1: Said with force by all participants
Ouranos Rite's Invocation 2: Said with a forcefull lethany 8 times by all participants
Ouranos Rite's Evocation Section: Read by each member in turn, in order to create the servitors.
Banishing by Laughter
Gnostic Banishing Ritual

End time: 12:50am

Dinner (or really early breakfast) at 1:00am

Notes:
I made some MP3's of the Rite in spanish with GarageBand using some dark and misterious loops, to listen on the drive up to the Mountains, it helped with the memorization and mindset.
After the opening Banishings, the area felt noticeably clean and charged.
During Invocation #2, the energy seemed quite strong.
After finishing, we all felt energetic, optimistic, and even 'healthier'. After getting home at 2:00 am, I needed some time to dissipate the energy and let sleep take over.

For a first time group working in the Open, we seemed to did ok! ^_^

Neurocam Update

Last night I received the review of my last mission, wich required a bit of typing. Here follows an interesting bit:

"However, it is suggested that this
operative (and many of his peers) be introduced to the concept of
spell-check"
So there you go, fellow operatives: Better check those reports for lousy spelling before hitting 'send'!

Warning Dream??

For the last couple of weeks, I've been considering joining certain Illuminati from Europe, following the advice of two friends. Last night we discussed the subject again and I felt that I should reach a decission soon. Late that night, I dream about walking into a library, and the manager speaks out loud: Illuminati, 73! a couple of times. Later in the dream, I get a $400 fine for breaking a glass door in a bank.

So, researching the gematic values involved (thanks to Mr. Heidrick's Page), I found the following possible meanings:

73: to be about to bear a penalty
                    OR
wisdom, skill, proficiency; piety; science, knowledge

400: practice magic; sorcery, incantation; a sorcerer
                    OR
to smite, to rend or split; pr.n. "Fissure" or "Chasm"

What should I make of this?
At least, the 73 relates to the dream about the Fine, by way of the 'penalty' meaning. And that penalty will be in the field of Magic?

I plan to later do a divination on this. I don't want to linger any more on this subject.

Chaos Magick

The third week of the Chaos Magick course on maybelogic.org started today. This week we shall delve in theory, and it was a nice change of methodology, to have first two weeks of practical experience. I had success on week one with a Sigil, and it was earthshattering for me. On the second week I also had a nice divination with the CM methods, have a brief communication with my HGA, resulting in the Lovers card (Toth Tarot), and a lovely vision of union.

On saturday night, some of the members decided to get together on the Chat Room and experiment with Telepathy, with some striking successes. I missed all the transmissions related to taste, but when my turn came to transmit and image, we had a funny result: I focused on the Apple Logo on the top left corner my screen and some of the guys 'got' the tree I had for wallpaper! ^_^ We used a 4Mhz .mp3 and a flashing sigil.

Maybe Logic

This week ended the Crowley 101 Course in the Maybe Logic Academy, with Robert Anton Wilson as Instructor. The effects of the course are still working their way OUT!

Now the 2nd week of the Chaos Magick course with Peter J. Carroll himself, is going smooth. I performed yesterday my first succesful act of Magick with sigils!

Later on the way...

Ah.. and to bad we now have a Pope that used to be in charge of the inquisition and thinks relativism is evil (the Hitlerjugend thingy can come off as mandatory at that time).

Ascended Masters

Yesterday, my wife and I attended a Serapis Bey Seminar. The common subject of all the lectures was our relationship with the Elemental and Angelic kingdoms.

The highlight for us, was the visit from Werner Schroeder and Wife, of the Ascended Masters Teaching Foundation (http://www.ascendedmaster.org/). They both gave a soft, deep, and insightful speech, and related their story of how they obtained the teachings. At the end, Mr. Schroeder in his soft voice, told us he would give all of us a blessing. What ensued was amazing. My wife and I clearly saw, and heard, how he changed, we felt a rush of energy emating from him, that swoop by all of us. We also saw for a few seconds, his face becoming transfigured, with such light and inmense authority. On the brake, with hands, and thanked him for his work.

Fun with Garage

This past Friday, I joined HW (read prior post) and a friend of his on an exciting project: a series of cd's using guided relaxations various sounds and an alpha-state inducing track.

I've never done anything like that before, but decided to join in with my PowerBook and GarageBand. We connected an external console and some microphones and the fun began! We finished first recording some tibetan instruments (Links, Bells, a Lire, Bowl) each one in his own track, and setting the background Alpha track. Next we will add some music, and of course, HW's voice doing the guidance. The goal is producing a complete series of cd's for different tasks: relaxation, healing, etc.

It was all so easy and intuitive. Every day I feel more satisfied with my decision of switching to Mac!

Master Figure

By the most unlikely series of events, a few months ago my wife and I met a new friend, who has helped us see a lot of things, being a source of insight and growing. He comes from a Essene school in South America, also related to Krumm-Heller's F.R.A..
From him, I've learned much of the need to have a balanced approach to life (Physical, Energetic, Emotional, Spritual). From doing practical things, like getting rid of old gifts and mementos of past relationships, to close chapters, etc. to make room for the new; to the need of stop reading so much and start focusing on practicing and actually *walking the path*, in my case, Thelema.
Lately we've be focusing also on achieving success on Malkuth, and he has actually done some good ol' fashioned coaching, helping me define my goals and how to make them happen.
By the bizarre way all of this has came to be, and the fact that he is operating out of sheer friendship, the phrase "When the student is ready, the teacher appears" comes to mind...

1st NCI Assignment!

Today I spent Carnival Monday finishing up my first Neurocam assignment: finding three Dead Drop locations here in Panama City. Go figure!! Let's see to wich heights (or depths) of self-discovery this Neurocam process takes ultimately. Well, for starters, how many NC operatives are in this country???

Magickal Karnevals...

Wife and I decided to stay in the Capital during "Carnavales". So we gave a gift to ourselves and spent last night on a Hotel, away from routine and delving into Tantric Sex. Oh, it was so beautiful. I'm learning more and more about "refining my lust".

Today I decided to memorize Liber V vel Reguli. Boy, the Second Gesture can make you quite dizzy with all that Spiral Dance! It's a beautiful ritual nevertheless.

Also at sunset I plan to perform my fisrt Mass of the Phoenix.

Personal Yantra

It's mostly right, specially on the 'Destiny'entry..
got it from
http://www.markfarrar.co.uk/yantra01.htm

---^---

8	21	73	4
71	6	6	23
5	74	20	7
22	5	7	72

Destiny

You have to learn to establish and maintain system and order. You will have to pay attention to details, and work hard and long when required. It is not an easy path. You will see others taking short cuts and enjoying frivolous activities, and could resent the necessity of working so hard. However, the hard work does ultimately pay off.

Enthusiasm & Energy

You put a great deal of enthusiasm and energy into making money and being involved in large-scale undertakings. You enjoy making plans and then going out and achieving them. You are motivated by money and work well in careers where your efforts are rewarded in straight financial terms. Commission sales is a good field. You can also put a great deal of enthusiasm into spending money, usually on yourself.

Family & Friends

You are family-minded, caring and supportive. You love your friends and family with total devotion. You are willing to do whatever is necessary for the wellbeing of loved ones. Your only fault is that you can be overly protective and stifle any attempts at independence by members of the family.

Generosity

You are particularly generous with family and loved ones. You are a caring person and will give generously to any worthy cause. However, you make sure the needs of your loved ones are met first. You are inclined to be a soft touch to a sad story.

Humanitarianism

You get along well with people and make a natural, if haphazard, humanitarian. You get impatient, though, if your efforts do not bring instant results. Sometimes, you get yourself involved in too many different humanitarian activities, and end up running around in circles helping nobody.

Intuition

You are casual about your intuition. You get intuitive flashes about all sorts of things. You also use logic over a wide area. Both logic and intuition are used in a haphazard way. You live your life in the future more than in the present, and your intuition often helps you make the right choice. This is one reason why you are often regarded as being lucky.

Joie De Vivre

You are happiest when thinking about large-scale plans and dreams. These ideas usually remain as dreams, but you get enormous pleasure out of them, even though you know deep down that you are unlikely to achieve them. Once sufficiently motivated, you also enjoy acting out your dreams and making them happen. The biggest problem you face is deciding which dream out of many to pursue.

Karma

You failed to use your intuition in a past life. Consequently, you will find it hard to trust your intuition in the early part of this lifetime, and will only gradually come to recognise and make use of it. You also made mistakes with close relationships, and will have to work hard at this area of life avoid disappointment in this lifetime.

Love

You need time on your own, and require a partner who will respect this. Given the right relationship, you can be very loving in thought and action, but always find it hard to express these feelings in words.

Money

You have the potential to make as much money as you wish. You need worthwhile goals that you believe in. You seldom work for selfish ends, preferring to do things you see as being worthwhile for humanity as a whole.

Nurture

You help and advise people in all sorts of different areas. Your advice is sound and well meant, but you have often gone before the results are apparent. You need to be encouraged to nurture something for yourself, and to follow it through to completion.

Opportunities

You will be given opportunities to develop spiritually and grow in knowledge and wisdom. You are likely to ignore the spiritual opportunities early in life, usually preferring the opportunities that appear in scientific or technical areas. However, the spiritual side gets stronger and stronger and cannot be ignored indefinitely.

Philosophy

You build up a philosophy based on helping others. Behind a slightly detached exterior you are a true humanitarian who is willing to help everyone.

Simple Realizations

Today I suddenly realized the simpleness and rotund reality of the Divine Nature one has. I used to perceive that the Inner Christ, I Am Presence or Holy Guardian Angel was something separate and severed somehow from our normal perception, but just as soon as the simple fact gets thru, that you and the Divine Spark are one and the same and all that needs to be done is to focus the attention on all that is Perfect and Light within, all comes clear. Now, all I need is to sustain that realization longer and longer each day. Until it becomes as natural and normal, as the act of Breathing.

Just installed this great looking LJ Client for Mac OS X. I was planing to invest time today building up my journal and XJournal seems so far to be the way to go. Alas.... almost 6 hours of Knights of the Old Republic have taking a toll on my sight. Thanks to the Sith armies, this has been one of the shortest saturdays ever!
